We invite you to stop in and see our newly expanded Hermantown Garden Center!  Every year, we strive to provide the latest gardening ideas.  We have over 250 annual varieties and 500 varieties of perennials to add color and texture to your landscape.

We also provide over 450 varieties of trees, shrubs and evergreens!

Our knowledgeable Garden Consultants specialize in quality grown annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs and evergreens.  We also specialize in container gardening and aquatic plants.  With over a century of growing experience, we would love to assist you in all of your gardening needs.

Looking to accessorize you yard and garden?  We have the answers.  Choose from unique birdbaths, patio furniture, gazing balls, chimes...  there's too many to list!

Pond and water gardening is a beautiful addition to every landscape.  Whether you have an established water display or are interested in creating one this season, Engwall's can provide you with everything you need.  We have beautiful aquatic plants, fountains, pond liners, pumps and creative ideas to help you assemble and enhance your water garden. 

Engwall’s Greenhouse was founded in  1876 as a small vegetable truck farm.  In the beginning, there were just a few hot beds to give the Engwall family and neighbors an early start on planting.  Now, our garden center greenhouse display area covers nearly 22,000 square feet, filled with the areas best selection of plants and gardening items to  help you create a great yard and garden. 

The experienced Engwall Garden Center staff enjoys communicating and helping with all your gardening needs.  Our Garden Center is open 10 months out of the year. 

The hours at the Garden Center are:  Monday thru Friday,  9:00am-5:00pm CST,  Saturday, 9:00am - 5:00pm,  Sunday 10:00am-5:00pm CST.  Hours are also subject to change with the season. 

You will always find what you are looking for at Engwall’s Garden Center.  We have a large selection of perennials, annuals, trees and shrubs.  We also carry  a large selection of gardening supplies, pottery, fountains, birdbaths, statues, unique gifts and accessories.
